Save File from Steam Deck is not present in game on desktop?

So, after using a previous version of Proton I could save the game on Steam Deck, but when I launch the game on PC the file is not there?

There aren't any cloud saves, so you would need to manually transfer any save files.

I had TWO hard drives break during runs (I was using handmedown hard drives) and that is how I lost two mid way save files.

All my hours in this game are two half attempts.
