"Doggy Dodger" Achievement

Maybe it's just me and my lack of luck in general, but the Doggy Dodger achievement seems nigh unobtainable, and very luck-based. It essentially relies on, 1. Surviving long enough to find 5 dogs in a single game, 2. Even being on the same level as them when they spawn, and 3. Nailing the timing good enough to jump over each. More often than not, one of the above conditions will not be met.

For starters, what even qualifies a 'jump' over a dog? Does it have to be a physical jump, starting from the platform the dog is on, and ending on that same platform? Right there that eliminates crumbling platforms from the equation, further decreasing your chances, although I'll admit it is mildly amusing watching dogs or Tac Nayn continuing to run on the place where the platform was, essentially floating.

If the starting and/or ending platform are of no relevance to the achievement, does falling near the dog, without hitting him, count? Occasionally I'll spot a dog and drop on to his platform to attempt a jump over, but often can't get off my own platform before he reverts direction and end up either completing missing him or just shy of him. Without a counter on the achievement that resets each match, there's no way of telling how successful any attempts were, or if they were even counted.

Lastly, do the superhero, rocketship, or bubble-jump powerups count as 'jumps'? The bubble is self-explanatory, but for the others, say I fly very close above the dog's head, does the fact that I was technically above him at one point trigger a tick towards the achievement, or is that not meeting enough conditions of a 'jump'?

One suggestion I have would be to implement an Enemies+ boost item, that would increase the spawn rate of enemies each game purchased. At the very least, this would soften the monumentally low condition of spotting 5 dogs in a single match. It would also make the "Warrior" and "Veteran" achievements that much less grindy; two-for-one.

For those also having trouble with the achievement, and until we can get a response from a dev, my personal suggestions:

• Attempt to stay in the middle: This increases your visibility the most to aid in your quest to find the buggers
  
• The beginning is often dry of enemies, it is deeper where spawns tend to increase and you have the best chances of finding the most dogs, so purchasing the Head Start boost could be good if you have trouble starting out sometimes
  
• I strongly suspicion the bubble powerup counts as a 'jump', so seeking these powerups should always be a priority
  
• The energy-drink and turbonyan powerups can be beneficial in successful jumps, so long as you are sure you can control it well enough not to completely miss the dog's platform
  
• The powerup++ boost purchased before a match gives you that much more time to use beneficial powerups to their fullest. The Less Bombs and Shield 1x boosts can also increase survivability
  
• Avoid nyanlove powerups like the plague; they'll subvert your attempts
  
• It's possible invincibility powerups might screw with the conditions for the achievement, so until we get the all-clear, it might be safer to avoid those as well

In Tac Nyan mode, I think there will be enough Doggy to get the achievement, always meet 5 Doggys in 700M.
Veteran achievement is most annoying I think, Nyan Love is rare, and you always meet no enemies after you get a Nyan Love.

Veteran is the most annoying one lol I must really suck because I now have well over 6hrs trying to get that achievement alone. There is a discussion already open about adding progress bars. I hope they see it and update the game soon because getting tired of it fast :(

I was doing the space mode to test for the 1000 meters without taking damage (unnsuccessful), but in the meantime I randomly got the dogge dodger achievement. I jumped over 2 dogs regularly, and then I got 3 mid-warp. So I'd try to get it there.
