TL won't load anymore?

Played it once i bought it for 4.5 hours or so. Recieved achievements and obtaind a few goals as one would expect. Went to bed, explained how good-a game it was to my mates the next day,but I was unable to even start the game. It just said "Launching Torchlight." But nothing happened every time ('cause i think i tried about 100 times.) Had a great email conversation with support , but they didn't even know what was going on. Just glad it was on sale for a couple dubloons.

same thing happened to me no luck with suppport i played for an hour and it would never open again i bought on gamestop app first then bought onb steam to see if that would work it the same thing happened

Back up your save games first (copy-paste them on your Desktop to find them easy later), you can find those in My Documents Runic Games depending on your Operating System you might want to do a search in My Computer for Runic Games Folder, and/or upload those save games to Steam Cloud. Then choose to delete all local content from Steam by right clicking Torchlight within your Steam Games Library and this will delete the game from your PC. Reinstall it since it's such a small game to download and copy paste your save game folder back to the folder specified above. If this method doesn't work for you then you have to uninstall the game and delete it's registries as well followed by a simple PC restart before reinstalling which is also easy , you can even google it.

This goes without saying that you all reaady have powerful enough machines to run the game , you didn't cheat or modify the game files in any way , and you have all ready checked that your antivirus is allowing your application to work.

P.S. If you installed mods on the game , that might be the problem too since some mods don't go well with others and crash the game or won't let it start due to the fact that multiple mods are trying to access the same files and overwrite them countering eachother. Turn off your mods one by one and test to see if it works.
