Is there an "Unlocker" for the Shadow Vault? Mod or otherwise?

I beat game awhile ago. Was going to try hopping back into it with some mods. Wiped my old saves (but kept my main character, as I thought this might be what game looks at to know if vault is unlocked) but have found that the shadow vault is locked for me.

So, what I'm wondering, is there any kind of tool I can use or file I change in order to unlock the vault without replaying the game?

So, the character you kept finished the story and the vault was unlocked for that character? If so, it's weird that the game locked the vault. Maybe an earlier character is the one that unlocked the vault. You could try going into the game files and see if you can restore your old characters or restore the game save from a Backup file. The location of the game files on Windows 10 is:

This PC/LocalDisk(C:)/Users/Name(name that you've given your computer)/AppData/Roaming/runic games/torchlight

Yeah, I kept the correct character for sure. It's the only character I ever cleared game with, so there is no doubt there. They are retired now though, so I can't actually load into them. (And also they are not compatible with current mods anyway)

It might be because the mods I'm using now are incompatible with the old character. I know the game would crash if I try to delete the character even, without reinstalling the old mods. So it's plausible maybe it can't even load it to realize that I beat the game. Who knows, just guessing. From what it seems though, I don't think there is much I can do but beat the game again. Oh well.

I think with mods, it's as if you are starting a brand new game. That's how it is with Torchlight 2. If you start playing a modded version of TL2, you have to start over with a new character and play the game from scratch. You won't be able to access anything in the shared stash from your vanilla game, either. It's like you never played the game before.
