THAT being said... another point of view is...
Starpoints mean *absolutely* nothing to me, and, frankly, I wish I could turn them off, just to take a little arcadey/Las Vegas slot machine away from the interface. I'm not even sure what all the beeps and bops are that are happening durning a play... giving me x 'star points' for this or that... they come and go so quickly I can't really even look at them while I'm trying to field the ball.
And on the leaderboards... I'm a casual, at best. The guy(s) at the top of the leaderboards have like 100x the star points I have or will ever have... I guess that means I'm supposed to feel bad about myself? ;)
I mean no offense... I love almost everything else about this game, but "Starpoints" are completely, absolutely, 100% pointless. (again, just to me! Absolutely no problem with their existance for other people to compete with and enjoy, if there are such creatures.)
