Silencers/silent weapons

I think we should have at least a silenced pistol to help with stealth for a little bit of distance. So we aren't walking right up to their faces to kill them.

Or, and hear me out,Please don't. We don't need long range silenced weapons. If we had a throwing knife we have to go pick back up I'd be fine with that because you couldn't just shoot without a care in the world but with silencers you'd just have to shoot everyone fast enough and I, in my opinion, fell that would just ruin stealth

That's why I was just saying a Silenced Pistol would be nice or yeah start with a throwing knife and just make the pistol an unlockable.

I don't think you understand how rare they were, Suppressors were still relatively rare in the 1940s and most soldiers wouldn’t have known they existed, let alone how to improvise one in the field. Only games and hollywood make up how they existed in mass during the period.

That would totally ruin stealth gameplay.

The only acceptable ranged weapon would be throwing knives, but not as utility like grenades.
I'd rather like to be able to throw my melee weapon which means I only get one try to kill, then I'm left with bare fists until I retrieve the weapon.

Im thinking just a Welrod or a Delisle Carbine would be good. Stuff that's pretty much only good for stealthing.

The welrod was only effective at point blank lol.. you might as well just use a knife.

Welrod would be good. Useful for stealth purposes only, and because of slow fire rate, not OP enough to take out for example an entire camp in 5 seconds without anyone ever knowing. You need to pick your shots. Also its damage could drop off after a certain distance ect..

they wouldn't be op in a real life setting since they were still quite loud, but not as loud as without a suppressor. Someone could hear the sub sonic shot within distance.

Suppressor in general like I said were very rare, and only the british used them with their commandos. America had their own versions down the line, but I don't remember if they ever had any combat use during the 40's.. the soviets had suppressors for their mosin-nagants at one point, but I believe that was after the war.
