Can you post your specs, and a screenshot of your advanced settings?

Can you try to turn vsync of, and check the "refresh rate" this is in the regular video options ( not advanced )

Also, make sure the game is runnign in fullscreen mode

Game is in fullscreen, I turned vsync off and the refresh rate is set to 60. Still rarely hit 60 on low. Though neither of those should affect performance.

ok, so even if we did a fix for this, maybe the problem somehow for you exists, but could you try this:

Use the Nvidia Control Panel or AMD CCC to force the game to use your built in GPU instead of the Intel one

This guide should help you depending on your video card:

It's using the 940mx... I was able to play destiny 2's beta on low with above 60 fps.

And you played around in the settings?
Did you try raising the FPS limit?

I have set the settings to low and have set them to high. High has dropped the fps by like literally 5-10.

I have turned off vsync and the fps limit is at 60, although I never hit 60.

He was asking if you have tried raising the framerate limit past 60

Ok, I will put a ticket on our side and we will check how that card is, and what we can do from our side in a future patch to fix it.

It does sound weird that it dips that much, basically everywhere? or specific points or locations?

I'm not sure why changing the framerate limit would change anything though. If it isn't hitting 60, it surely shouldnt lower the overall fps.

It only dips 5-10 fps when switching from low to high settings. And no, certain maps do cause the frames do drop a lot, such as high density maps, like the bank one.
