First, stop calling me a fanboy. I don't blindly follow it. Use actual arguments instead of using personal attacks to try to prove your point.
Second: watch the streams, newsletters and updates instead of looking at your dream world. We got a free weapon recently with 2 more to come, a new grenade is coming this week, there's already a new raid coming (missile base) that has been teased in last week's stream and they have been working on a new gamemode for some time now, plus bug fixes every week. So no, I'm not blindly defending it, I have good reasons for it.
Still gonna call me a fanboy just for not wanting it to die? Then here's what I don't like about the game:
The Team AI is terrible.
The grinding after level 15 is too long and it gets boring.
Classes are unbalanced right now, with Demolitions and Recon being weaker than Assault and Insurgent.
I'm sure I have more, but that's what's at the top of my head right now.
Getting a little sick of you calling a "fanboy" to anyone who dares to not think like you.
Also, it's 40$. 60$ is for the Special Edition.
Very interestingly Vermintide 2 has just been announced so we can start to draw comparisons between it and RAID.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/552500/Warhammer_Vermintide_2/
Graphically it doesn't really look any better than RAID besides FX, so now graphic ♥♥♥♥♥♥ can definitely go ♥♥♥♥ themselves: it proves that graphics are the most irrelevant thing in that game genre. However it still looks prettier thanks to the art direction and the fantasy setting that allows more creativity.
But regarding the price, it's clear that Starbreeze charged way too much for RAID.
The SEQUEL (not even new IP, so it could afford having a higher price than the first one) of a critically-aclaimed but not so played game is currently sold, discarding reductions, for 27.99€ and 41.99€ for the Collector Edition.
Basically the special edition costs the same as RAID's regular edition. This is why it will be way more successful than RAID even if the game happens to be ♥♥♥♥ (plus the fact that again it's a sequel and not a new IP).
Starbreeze definitely have to cut price for RAID to match Vermintide 2's price, if not even lower, and think about putting RAID on sale in the near future.
Raid is pretty different and not just a reskin but some people fail to see that.
Got to agree that the initial price tag is certainly overinflated and that is a big issue to early adoption of a new IP (unlike vermintide 2 who rides on the cotails of the original).
Concerning the OP (and a few other notable ones), just let them be. They need something to enlarge their e-peen and feel 'accomplished'. Sad really, we should pity them instead for having nothing better to do.
Now what time will the next wednesday patch roll in?
This game only had a total of 146 players on yesterday
Vermintide is more aobut the horde mode aspect, while Raid is a objective based coop game with Horde mode to keep you on your toes.
True Believers will warp any fact to suit their opinions. RAID is a failure. It's a very bad Payday2 mod that actually tricked thousands of people into paying for it. This joke of a mod will be dead soon.
Not gonna bother with the pd2 mod/reskin because it's just wrong and it's pointless to talk to a wall.
While they share similarities as coop objective based shooters, they are built and play very differently.
Its WWII Raid Not A WWII With Nazis , Good Team and other fps game
Also Crosshairs are for people who cant aim correctly.
RAID's price tag is way too high for that niche genre and Vermintide 2 has a much more fair price tag. That didn't prevent me from pre-ordering Special Edition though.
