1 Million Clicks achievement [Updated]
Why does this achievement exist? It's categorically insane. The only 'on the way' achievement is 1000 clicks, and no way to see how far you're going on the achievement.

Some people might not agree with this, but *normally* with clicking games people use AHK as an autoclicker, but for whatever reason this unity game doesn't like the usual interpretation. It means that even with a 70ms delay, it would take over 21 hours clicking at 13 times per second to get this achievement. Even then, you need to be in a position where you can do zero damange to a mob while also recieving zero damage, so you need to also program the clicker to mitigate for death or end-of-stage.

This is worse than the 100k kills GoW achievement on the original Xbox.

Proper achievements are either finding secrets or something a little more innovative. E.g. Hit level 50 is more appreciated rather than hit level 5000. Things like 'find the six hidden eggs', or 'score a hit above 1000 dmg', or 'score a hit of exactly 666 dmg'. Plenty of angles for fun achievements. One million clicks isn't fun.

Update 23rd April: dnj and Justyna, the devs, pushed an update to reduce this achievement to 100k. Many thanks!

And why it shouldn't exist ? It's same insane.

I find short time achievements like long time achievments fun. If you can do all in 1 hour, game will become less interresting. And nobody force you to get this achievement, probably for braves or smart players using autoclickers.

Only players who come to play fast and forget this game can be affected by your "insane" logic. And who care about them ? We'll forget them as faster as they forget this nice game.

there is a game ARK part 3
where an achievement is
"work one full workday at work"

thats 8 hrs you have to idle without the pc alt tabing or turning off
8 hrs

straight no exit no hibernate no changing windows
(or the clock resets)

sooo

they should change it to 100.000 clicks instead, 1m is gonna take a while...

With "a while" I meant 120+ hours...in a game that lasts 10 hours or so. :squirtyay:

Some people here tend to forget that achievements is just a reflection of the value of some of the variables in the game. It's just a pop up telling you you clicked a million time. Even if the pop up didnt exist ... the 1 million click would still exist and calculated for your character.

Sometimes, the point of certain achievements IS that they take an extreme amount of time, patience, endurance, or even just plain ol' good luck. If everyone could obtain all achievements easily it kind of devalues the sense of acomplishment one gets from obtaining them. I personnally enjoy it when a developer puts in some crazy achievements that I know less than 1% of the people playing will end up getting, it also extends the playtime for me immensely. In the end they don't really matter and are just for fun like you said, so if you don't have fun going for one simply move on and let the people who enjoy going for the crazy achievements get them.

yea its why looking at the few that have this achievement have only a few hrs played
oh yeaaa sure they didnt use SAM righhhhtt

That's essentially my point. It's extending the game artificially beyond even extreme gameplay with no story to go down that route. It's not a real extension. At least leaving a game on (either for eight hours or for a year like Garry's Mod) is exceptionally easy to leave and forget.

There's also the call for RSI. I'm sure a 15 year old would love to have future ligament issues if they went on for a million clicks. If the system counted the auto-DPS damage as clicks, I might be more supportive.

Agreed that the 1 mil is very absurd, considering the game's content! Seems very out of place in an otherwise pleasant game. 100k would be much more reasonable to change to. Even that would still be a long grind, but at least it's within the course of normal gameplay somewhat. 1 mil given how few levels there are in the game is just...why!? Hopefully the dev will consider these opinions...hell if it stays 1 mil just add a target dummy level and give us the option to grind it out for no in-game reward :)

ah but the game is in its birth phase
who knows whats to come

but yea dps auto from fellows should count that would help a lil anyway
but this game is the least clicking click game, try going for clicker hereos my kid sat for 4 hrs clicking to stack dmg x its nuts (not auto clicker either just ahhh)

The Nothing Man Apr 23, 2016 @ 12:03am
well this game only seems to detect 12-15 clicks a second vs most which are around 30-50 per second

so really I can click much faster without the autoclicker on this game
just my arm and my kids arm lol

and yea cheaper than a mouse hahahaha good pooint

Hello guys, according to your feedback and suggestions we changed "Crazy clicker" Achievement to 100.000 clicks as it seemed really reasonable
