Inspired By True Events: Jonestown Massacre

From the little promotional material available many of you like me may have theorized that 'Outlast II' takes place in some kind of small town or settlement. It would seem that this has now been confirmed since the developers revealed the core inspiration for the game a little while back; The Jonestown Massacre. For those who don't know, the Jonestown Massacre was a mass suicide (in fact, the largest mass suicide currently recorded) led by a cult called The People's Temple and it's leader Jim Jones.
