in other words, the passage will be more focused on the plot than on attempts to pass the level. If you just want to enjoy the story, then story mode is for you.

But this does not mean that in the game does not have to die or not be afraid of enemies. In special places you still have to run and hide.

I’m so afraid of dying in Outlast, so I tried story mode the first time I played Outlast 2. I didn’t need to worry about enemies at all, but I can still die. The intense chase sequences are still there. I don’t recommend it because it’s too easy, and some enemies are too stupid to even chase me, which sometimes create bugs where one chase sequence is supposed to happen but you can’t trigger it because the enemies don’t see you
