Scariest character{s} in Outlast II in your opinion?

So I just decided to learn everyone's opinion on what YOU think the scariest characters or character is from Outlast II. I'll list my top 3

1. Marta

I mean what can I say more? Wouldn't you be frightened if a tall woman with a big pickaxe is SPRINTING after you, nearly INCHES behind you? I mean come on. Noted that she is one of the most annoying, her screaming and deadly sounding music just never gets past me.




2. All Heretics


You'd think the Testament was creepy and terrifying until you see these guys in Lamentations (The hallucinogenic bloody rain chapter) when you're in that building. These guys are naked and covered in dirt and mud, and they carry bone knives and clubs, and whatever else. They also growl and hiss at you. These guys are just super terrifying because of that fact. Also Val, the leader is just atmospherically terrifying; only because she's super slow and just her natural aura is just petrifying. Luckily, she's not hard to get past and her enemy time is very short.


3. Father Loutermilch/The School Demon

There's no possible way this couldn't be on my list. I've had terrible experiences with Loutermilch and he's just ridicoulously terrifying. He has multiple arms, a ripped cheek, and masturbating hand motion (which you can't notice that well, thankfully.) and is pretty quick. The part in the bathroom stalls got me the most, because either way, his demeanor and aura give off a "GET OUTTA THERE RIGHT NOW" vibe and you know it's gonna be bad. The swimming pool part was terrible and anxious, and I failed the mission a couple of times because of that. Not to mention every single school mission has you wondering where and when he's gonna be there. No wonder Jessica was screaming...

Well well well Marta is one serious crazy b***h, the part in the village when you have to pull the cart against the gate so you can step through is scary af in nightmare and Insane. Being chased off by Val in the mines is a serious yelling-test in nightmare as well as she runs FASTER than you do. F*ck me upon arriving in the part of the mine that caves in, I looked back and saw her taking the corner quicker than a ghost and she charged at me just before the cave in. The surprise took me off from the ground.
Then comes Nick and Laird in the valley and the mountain village because in Nightmare, I was incapable of telling myself whether Laird was going to instakill me with his arrows or not. The first time he shoots in the door's frame, I let him bleed Blake a bit while in the house several times to see how he was gonna face it. Two hits, hence I thought I was good so I left using the back window and started sneaking my way to the cliff along the rocks using the micro. Before the tripwire, I stood up and saw that Nick was pretty on the opposite side of the area. Awesome, I'm gonna sprint my way forward. Que nenni, the motherf*cker topped my head with one arrow and I dropped dead. I wasn't even in a chase moment. Horrendous surprise. The same happened while crossing the clough using the collapsed tree, basta*d did rip my a*s off with his godforsaken arrows. So terrfiied I was during the cliff pathway chase that I hurt myself twice against the cacti.
Pretty much everyone is godly terrifying in this game of the Devil.

I think the scariest is Marta she's awesome. The second scariest in my opinion is the inner demon (Loutermilch).
