Is this game going to be an attack on religion?

An upside down burning cross is cool for a horror game as is the idea of delving deep into the twisted depths of the human mind exposing its depravity. But when you say that we justify our depravity by means of "divine inspiration and a promise of paradise to come" that sounds like an accusation that all religious people are delusional. Is that going to be the main theme of this game? I just want to know what I'm in for.

Don't get me wrong that's a cool theme if you're talking about a David Koresh figure who kills people because some god told him too. I'd just like to know if you plan on painting all religious people with the same broad brush.

its a commentary on cults in general. not just religions...

we have had several cults that have resulted in corrupt acts. we had one in the deep south recently that sacrificed animals and raped children. we had heavens gate and a pile of Jordans. we had that one cult that said black people created white people and they were neuwapthian and came from space, yet their leader got arrested on child molestation charges and is a known fraud. we have had many cults and religiously based groups doing bad ♥♥♥♥ all the time.

So what if they used the Saint Peter's cross. this doesnt mean its a knock on Christians.

Take it like this.. Its a game. And in real life people get taken into a cult just like in game stories. Don't look to be offended. And secondly if your worried about them attacking your beliefs then you are not firmly planted in them to start with. The game warns you from the start it is going to be a rough ride. So if you get offended that is your problem not the creators.
