Nick and Laird camping nightmare/insane (spoilers)
So I've been practicing nightmare mode in preparation for an insane run, and I've otten most of the parts down pretty damn well, but one freaking part has me tearing my hair out. After you get your camera back, Nick and Laird spawn right by the ledge you need to go to. This wouldn't be so bad if they had competent AI, and would follow me into the forest where I could sneak around them, but for some reason someone decided to code these arrowtards to just camp the ledge you're supposed to go to. I figured out another weird kink with their AI, where if you go in a specific house and open both the windows, they'll get outraged and barrel towards the house. I have been able to use this to my advantage, and jump out of a window right as they are approaching the house, then dash straight for the destination. I've gotten it down to where it works almost every time, definitely enough for me to feel comfortable doing an insane run with it. Problem is, when you do reach the ledge, no matter how far you were from them or whether they saw you go there or not, Laird ALWAYS gets a free shot in, while you're shimmying around the first little bit, and it has about a 50/50 chance to hit. That I am NOT comfortable with on insane, not so far in. It wouldn't be bad if they gave you an extra bandage between this and the crucifixion, but as far as I can tell they have removed all of them. The problem with this is you won't be fast enough to get across the log in the next bit before being hit. I hate the way this AI has been programmed, its utter bs.
Rant over.

I think this AI is simply great, no idiotic enemies finally.

Only one time the AI bothered me. Marta basically teleported to the room I was in. I think it's not about their field of vision, but about distance range.

Yeah Marta blatantly teleports. Its extremely obvious is certain scenes like the area where you need to find the hook.

Check PS4Trophy's walkthrough, I found it very helpful on this section. What you want to do is, in that house, lock both doors then peek through the window so he triggers. Once Nick/Laird see you, they'll burst through the door, you need to jump out the window straight away. Most of the time he does shoot an arrow but I've done this section about 10 times on insane and he's not hit me once. It's all about timing, unfortunately. I find the next section after the log a lot harder, in which the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ blatantly gets aimbot.
