I cant hide under the beds.

therre is a parrt in the firrst chapter when it says I can crouch to hide under the bed but that doesnt work as intended. So what I do is juke past the goofy guy and there is stairs. I slide down the stairs but am unable to avoid getting hit by another zealot downstairs. I must have had to restart about 100 times and im really getting annoyeed with the trial and errror gameplay and lack of mechanics. Can anybody tell me what I do so I can get trhough this gay ass ♥♥♥♥.

I dont know about the devs but lately in games there are these things called mechanics. They govern stealth and action and other aspects of gameplay (most of which are missing from outlast) and they also allow players to measure and compare the outcomes of theirr decisions based on numerical or photographic data on scrreen usually that represent these mechanics. Outlast 2 has no mechanics to indicate anything so I just need to know what to do.

This isnt scary anymore. This is like pick a path in the dark. One time you make it. Other times you dont. Does anybody know what the path is here so I can get past this atrocious sequence.

There's crouch (CTRL) and Crawl (C) you need to crawl under beds. I can think of one time where you actually NEED to do it, the room with rows of bunkbeds. I think thats the part youre talking about. Look down the staors so you see the flashlight, then hide in the closet next to the stairs. I dunno where the guy down there goes, butif I wait for the guy upstairs to make a round, the guy down there is gone

ya I passed it by sliding under the beds. But now im at a part with having to push a cart and I dont think I can pass it.

I played in cs 1.6 tournaments but I cant pass this part. Ive died over 100 times theres nothing I can do I cant hide I can only nudge the cart a little bit before she finds me or warps behind me and kills me.

this is one of the worst games ive ever played

lol I love seeing everyone have the same issues... its basically a trial and error game... for the cart part... there is a hole by the cart... when she comes out go through the hole... wait for her to go around the fence... when she does run out push cart... if she pops out at you run back to hole and wait for her to go around fence.... then push cart more

If you think that part is annoying wait till you see whats coming...but you will get there just keep at it

Well the hole thing isnt that simple either... you have to make sure she goes left around the fence... if she goes right then yes you will get caught...I am only telling you this cause thats how I beat that part...there is actually a thread called stuck that people posted on how to pass that part

Ive tried all different combinations of things. The game is just too rrandom. I dont have time to keep rollling the dice. I plaly games because of skill not chance. If I wanted to rroll teh dice id go to the casino.

She definitely teleports once when you first start pushing the cart, but after that if you lead her far enough away and lose her and get to the cart fast enough (all 3 of these things), then you can push it the rest of the way undisturbed. When you get close enough to the end she automatically detects you though.

Here jack has no idea what he's doing and gets it on the second try by pushing a bit and then running her all the way around and coming back to the wagon immediately and pushing it the rest of the way.

push the cart as far as you can until shes jumps in front of it, turn around, run back and hang a left, keep going till you reach a shed with a red hue in it, she'll break through a wall, run back to the cart and you hsould have time to push it all the way before she catches you.

if this normal, its so easy to run from her
when you push the cart and hear her screaming, or the backsound change to suspense music, just run and hide, then push it again
its not that hard
