Hmm you say there are the same big amount of jumpscares like in 1? Cause I read some reviews and they said there are way less..just wanted to make sure before playing this game..what do you other people say?
But since you've mentioned RE7 as having "only few", I'd say it's about the same. In the way that there's "tension build up" most of the time. But honestly, jumpscares are usually "only few" otherwise they wouldn't be jumpscares. They'd be expected all the time.
When you're used to horror movies and games you instinctively hold a check list of conditions preparing a jumpscare and when there is going to be a jumpscare you think "There's totally gonna be a jumpscare any second now." because the timing, music, the location are a typical pre-jumpscare and they don't work so well. I understand why you'd hate jumpscares :)
