Worth buying?

I haven't played the first Outlast game but I have seen gameplay of it. Is the 2nd Outlast worth buying and playing even if I haven't played the first?

Yeh its worth it even if you dont play the first 1 , its a good horror game at good price.

30 bucks for a game that really isn't scary, can be beaten in a few hours, and just really goes for shock value?

Buy the first one and DLC, way better in terms of gameplay/horror.

i like it a lot.. have been wating for something like this since RE7.
production values are almost AAA and imo its worth it just to support the devs.

keep in mind that when you buy 3 new movie DVD's you pay more then this game and have less hours of entertainment..

imo it was worth every €

This is my absolute favourite game in a long time. It wasn't as much scary as it was tense, but I was too fascinated in the environment and story to care. :)
I recommend playing the first game as well, though. Both very good games.
