Why is This Game so Cheap?

Some developers know what their game is worth or rather can justify the asking price instead of "hoping" that people will pay 50/60 dollars for a game that will easily pay for itself.

There is different business and sales strategies, and selling a product cheaper sometimes turns out to attract more attention and demand - over all better sales. What would you prefer: your game being more expensive and 5 people buy it, or it being cheaper, and 15 people buy it? That's how it works depending on the market.

It isn't a AAA horror game. It's indie.

I hate to break it to you, but there isn't a huge market for "AAA" horror. Most horror games are being put out by indie studios. It's not like it's a bad thing either. At least with something like this the price is fair value.

Where as RE7 is $60 for a game that has little incentive for replay, can be beaten faster than than a fat man passes chipotle, and has a flaccid final act.
