you ruined the kinetic class, okay it was very strong, but you got so nervous that it was unfeasible to play:steamsad:

"If you become overwhelmed, simply use Luminous Burst to scatter and stun all enemies around you and get some distance. You can catch your breath a little by using Gravity Anomaly to slow oncoming enemies."

FIRST OFF... MY COMMENT IS BASED ON THE IDEA THAT THE PLAYER USING THE KINETIC CLASS HAS:

1. NOT SPENT MONEY ON THE GAME.
2. BEEN PLAYING MISSIONS SOLO TO LEVEL SKILLS
3. NOT OBTAINED END GAME CONTENT, THEA BUFF, OR TERA BUFFS.
4. NOT OBTAINED SOME WEAPON THAT CHANGES THE GENERAL PLAY STYLE OF THE CHARACTERS SKILLS
5. JUST OBTAINED THE KINETIC CLASS AND IS ATTEMPTING TO ACTUALLY PLAY IT WITHOUT GETTING CARRIED BY EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHERS

You know... someone who actually want to play the game for free and enjoy it before end game.

With that said I pose to you a question... What is your strat for solo combat versus Elite enemies and bosses? I seriously want to know.

For those of you who don't know... elite melee enemies and bosses are immune to all crowd control.

100%... IMMUNNNEEEE.

So... your push back and slow skills will not work at all. Kinetic dodge has horrid range... so you can't use that to get any distance or avoid for very long. And even if you use you rolling ball skill which is meant to move you about 25m (?) and push enemies out of the way... elite enemies and bosses movement speed will actually INCREASES when your character is trying to escape or get space. Some of them even have a galloping type of animation to show you they are dedicated the idea of running you down and killing you.

Let us not forget that most of your higher power attacks have a max range of about 15m... and your character uses a ranged weapon. Range weapons do max dmg at above 20m O.o
At 10m and below you do half dmg. o.O

Your best long range attack... has a horridly long cast time and locks you to the ground.

Long cast times aren't bad... but only when you have enough crowd control to make the use of such skills worth the risk!!

This move also require that you stack a debuff on your (6stack) target to get maximum dmg. SO you have to attack the enemy first... alerting them... then you have to charge up a long attack animation at the start of the fight to make the most of this move. assuming you are fighting a melee elite... you will then spend the rest of the time getting punched in the face while doing 50% less dmg and having nothing to do but hope you out dmg the ELITE enemy with 2-3 health bars. o.o

Your ultimate move ONLY DOES MAX DMG IF IT HITS 4 OR MORE TARGETS and has a 15m range... so even if the target is at 15 m when they get hit and there are 4 enemies being hit by the skill... ITS STILL NOT DOING MAX DMG. o.o And you >>>ARE NOT<<< IMMUNE TO DMG DURING THE ULTIMATES ANIMATION. So you can die before the move even launches.

Grav anomoly gives you infinite dodges and increases your dmg while inside... but only in a confined space... meaning you will spend pretty much the entire time dodging for your life without doing much dmg. And again... elites will still be on top of you because the slowing effect of the anomoly does not work on them. But at least you will be doing more dmg right and your movement speed goes up... but so do elites when they are chasing you. >.>

You have a shield skill that reduces dmg... but that skill like grav anomoly is locked on the ground... forcing you to fight in a confined space again.

Listen... This class is literally THE CLASS THAT GOT MY INTERESTED IN THIS GAME. It is basically like playing a dominator in City of Villains... WITHOUT THE DOMINATION POWERS. ( That is not a good thing mind you... domination was an amazing skill... it felt very broken... but you had to work to get it and it didn't last for more than maybe one fight or 2)

On a team Kin does better... not by much... but better because it has someone there it hold the aggro... allowing you to be the glass cannon you are meant to be. But a ranged class... CANNOT BE A RANGED CLASS... IF 85% OF ITS SKILL AND ABILITIES ARE CLOSE RANGED AND CAN HAVE THEIR CROWD CONTROL COMPLETELY NEGATED.

I have said this since i first realize the problem with this issue. Some Bosses should be immune to CC... that is fine for about 35% of bosses to be immune. Avatars being immune is totally fine. Elite enemies SHOULD NOT BE IMMUNE TO CROWD CONTROL!

All bosses and Elite enemies should have RESISTANCE... TO CC. But not all of them should be 100% immune.

for this game I suggest that Resistance means that you can stun, slow, silence, charm, confuse, blind, knock back, or hold the target for a limited time and after that time they become immune to all CC ( for the sake of saving you from having to do too much extra work) FOR A SHORT DURATION. So during the CC you can heal, retreat, or deal dmg that will allow you to have a better chance at victory... but after that you are on your own and must survive the immunity time.
