Now, ive been around with my.com for a while played most of their games, backed almost all of them, whilst armored warfare is kind of a flop at the moment along side cloud pirates. Skyforge is not. Skyforge is a very nice game, its well made has good stories, great classes and animations.
People saying its "dead" are wrong, the servers are still packed with players all day and night. But the thing is, instead of reading reviews and just going "pfff no", TRY IT, its free. infact its completely free to play, its not pay 2 win, "cant even buy anything to give you any advantage". But its a great game.

The game is "OK".. it's nothing special.. It's pretty much a bad Warframe or a better Vindictus. There are a TON of bugs in the game.. I can't play more than 20 minutes without some sort of UI bug or mission bug happening where I have to restart the game. From the looks of the forums over on my.com they don't seem to be fixing too much.
The game is ok, it's nothing special.. if you like grinding the same content over and over as a progression mechanic then you will like it.

Grinding the same content over and over as progression is litteraly every MMO, warframe - vindictus - WoW - Runescape - rift. You name it they all have the same thing. But skyforge is pretty great - warframe became pretty lackluster after they sold out the PWE, nerfed everything, broke every frame and weapon, broke the enemies and then just never fixed it.

Warframe is the same as this game is pretty much, a mindless grind. It's designed that way so you open your wallet and pay out of frustration or quit.

Btw Progression in an MMO is considered beating something and moving on to something new and harder.. This game isn't that. This game is do an instance at such and such level an insane amount of times over and over.. the SAME instance just with mobs with more hp bars. It becomes insanly redundant.

Thats where your wrong, you progress through the game pretty nicely, going from instance to instance running the story missions, eventually ending up at a point where like all games you grind for your gear.
Take guild wars 2 for example, you go through the same places over and over running quests leveling up just to hit a point where you grind for gear.
Same with warframe, you go through the same thing over and over and over and over just to grind for gear and mods.
Diablo 3 endlessly run through dungeons and rifts leveling up grinding for gear.
Its the same in any MMO it is just a grind, thats what it is meant to be.

You also dont have to pay for anything at all in skyforge ever, it gives you no benefits at all really.
Same with warframe, warframe is more a time saver thing.

+better daily directive chest reward
+more loots in dungeons
+adepts don't need to recover and bring back more
+dps buff
+more investments in cathedral/tok per day
+more faith
+more daily rare chests
+more stimulants
+more credits/koe

You can also buy the goliath and the trewang idol for 40€ each as soon as you start the game and dominate pvp vs players who started with you and didn't buy them.
