Everyone, buckle up! Here we go! -Bosses, or Uber Mobs, do exist in Junk Jack. You can summon them by digging underground on each planet and breaking their altars with a work hammer. The Uber Mobs all deal damage upon contact with the player, spawn with minions, (Some Uber Mobs have flying minions, while others do not.) and shoot projectiles that can break through blocks. The Uber Mobs on the endgame planets have more HP and deal more damage, but the mechanics for all of the bosses are the same. -In Terraria, there are NPCs and currency, but Junk Jack has neither of these features. -Junk Jack offers a massive number of treasures, or rare items that are very valuable but serve no purpose, while Terraria does not have a treasure system. -There are different planets to travel to in Junk Jack, and they can be accessed by putting together three matching portal pieces, which are found in underground Portal Chests in Adventure Mode. -In Terraria, the player uses Mana, which is used to power magic weapons, but Junk Jack does not have this feature. -There are ranged weapons (Bows and crossbows) and melee weapons (Swords, spears, mauls, and magic weapons) in Junk Jack. -When forging materials in Junk Jack, the player needs a fuel source, but only one lump of the material being forged is required. -Junk Jack has neither an Underworld, nor Floating Islands like Terraria does.
I apologize for posting such a lengthy reply, but I could not let myself leave out any important details. I hope this reply helped, and I will be right here if you need any more help. :D
Here's an edit that I made shortly after:
Oh, yeah. Another difference from Terraria is that the tools and weapons in Junk Jack have durability meters. If you're used to Terraria, then it could be really weird to see your tools and weapons break. I just thought I'd add that in. :D
