PROLOGUE is now available in French!

Oct 25

The French translation is FINALLY done. You would not believe how painful it was.

A few things were fixed, such as issues with Jafar's portraits, Damian and Malts's sprites, as well as MORGUE's battle portrait. Also simplified battle hints. Nothing too important.

REMINDER: If you're lost, you can read the battle manual here:

Or, in French, here:

NEW NPC, BUG FIXES, LINUX BUILD

Oct 21

THIS UPDATE IS PART OF THE STEAM NEXT FEST DEVELOPMENT RUSH.

Patch notes:

+ Added a new character, Koya, to the Hotel Lobby
+ Added more help text to battles
+ Added Special Thanks to the credits
+ Updated Linux build to this version
= Changed the start and end screens
- Fixed a bug in the menu
- Fixed a bug in the tablet
- Fixed a bug in the cafeteria
- General minor fixes

I've also made some progress on the French translation, but that's taking a lot more time than I'd expected.

Steam Next Fest: PROLOGUE PHASE 1/4 RELEASED!

Oct 19

IT'S HERE. IT'S FINALLY HERE. EVERYONE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR IT. EXCEPT YOU. GET WITH THE TIMES ALREADY, WOW.

This update adds 30 to 120 minutes of content to the demo.

I really hope you'll enjoy it! This is only a fraction of what I've got planned for the full game, just enough to set the characters up for the upcoming content. Some of it is still a little rough around the edges, and the French translation isn't done yet. I'm a solo indie dev, this is tough.

Phase 2 to 4 will be released in the coming months.

The whole story is already planned out and now, most of the assets are done too. Shouldn't take too long!

In the meantime, you can check out the manual, if you're not familiar with the battle system already, as there is no tutorial (though you can likely figure it out yourself, I believe in you!) https://darkhand.org/manual

Please report any bugs to me through e-mail, Bluesky, or Discord.
