Hmm... one could argue that they all did something wrong since with the exception of Chiaki and Usami/Monomi, they were remnants of Ultimate Despair
In and of the game itself though... TeruTeru killed out of selfishness to get off the island. Despite his sympathetic story, He was willing to get everyone else killed to save himself. That puts him squarely in the "deserved execution" category.
Despite how much I liked Mikan, she deserved execution as well. Though the Despair Disease was inflicted upon her, it did nothing more than bring back her memories where she had been corrupted by Junko. Ultimately, she killed Ibuki and Hiyoko for her "beloved."
On the other hand, as much as I loathed Gundam, I could make an argument that he may not have deserved execution. The duel to the death between him and Neko(Mecha)maru was mutual and essentially for the greater good of the group. Subjectively though, I wished he had died sooner since he is one of my least (if not the least) liked characters in the series.
Chiaki didn't deserve to "die" for many reasons, mostly ones that focus around the sheer ridiculousness that was the Nagito murder/suicide, the mess of a trial that followed, and a conclusion that required more than a little reaching.
TOO PURE
I like both of those girls, but if you've finishd the game (or at least got to the last trial) you'd know that They were Junko's lackeys.
You cannot.
They just got mixed with the wrong crowd.
1. Teruteru did have a selfish desire, but his main goal was to kill Nagito who had clearly revealed his intention to start the killing. I'm sure Teruteru was hoping he could get away with the kill, but I want to believe his original intention was to protect everyone else from a clear madman.
2. Peko is the only deserved death, IMO. With her skills, she should have been able to jump in and stop Fuyuhiko without having to perform the kill herself. Her logic as to why she wasn't a person during the trial was also a bit silly and she should have known it wouldn't go anywhere (with Fuyuhiko either being too nice or Monokuma rightfully calling ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥). There's a chance Fuyuhiko would have ordered her to make the kill later, but I don't think he would have.
3. Everyone had the potential to snap if they remembered their personalities as Remnants of Despair, so anyone inflicted with that Remembering Disease would have done the same thing. Just an awful version of the disease to catch, I believe Mikan would never have killed otherwise.
4. Gundham's death hit me hard. I definitely believe he did what he did for the greater good of the group and he could just as easily have been the one killed instead. He fought fairly and his sacrifice restored the hope of everyone else.
5. Nagito was simply not seeing the whole picture at the time of his death. He made the choice everyone struggled to do at the end of the game and tried to kill everyone so they didn't revert back to Remnants of Despair, but he didn't know about the method to overwrite their previous memories that would become apparent in the final area.
That being said, I'm sure neither Nekomaru nor Gundham deserved their deaths. They were trapped in an impossible situation where everyone was starving to death, so there was really no choice. That being said, though, I think it was pretty manly how they had a duel to the death as opposed to a simple backstabbing. I'd argue for Hiyoko's case too, since she's not a complete jerk to everyone. She was nice to Mahiru, who was nice to her. Given enough time, I'm sure she'd accept anyone who didn't straight up give her crap all the time.
His original personality is WAY better imo.
