Regarding Island Mode...
Is there any special event/scene for making everything Usami requests? I found out you can still get individual character endings, so I'm not sure what the benefit to putting up with her requests is (aside from more tickets). Honestly I'm really glad it isn't do or die like DR1...

There isn't, and I found it disappointing. Personally, after failing about 2 creations in a row in my first playthrough, I just focused the rest of the trip just building levels so I could do better the next time around. There's no difference to the endings, though; Monomi just approves of you all the same.

That is awesome. In my opinion, this is the perfect way to do Island Mode. Thanks!

Actually, the last request gives 4 tickets instead of 8.
It also give 200 Monokuma coins for completing it, which is nice.

Yeah, but I don't think you need to do every request up to it for that bonus. I missed the second to last request but got the final one and got that reward.

I don't think I stated in some way that you have to do every request for that. (If it's not the case, I'm sorry, English in not my native language)
I just wanted to say that the last request you get gives you a different reward.

Playthrough 1 of island mode should just be a throwaway to get chracters leveled and to finish all of your report cards.
Every playthrough after that you should do the tasks so you can maximize trip tickets so you can complete more characters events in the playthrough.
Basically the reward is you can spend less time overall grinding for all the underwear

You don't need to grind for that. You get it just by filling the hope crystals, not taking them on trips.
