Someone please help me and tell me the controls to win the reubutal showdown with gundum in chapter 4. I'm stuck here and I cant even save!

You have to shoot the "wire" truth bullet in the only argument he gives, if you can't actually understand the rules of the showdown, i believe there's a steam guide someone made exactly for that.

I had trouble too using keyboard controls until i realised you can cut diagonally and not just up/down/left/right.

Yeah, you have to remember you can cut diagonally.
