Thoughts on a Negative Review
So I once read this negative review of Danganronpa 2. And though I disagree with it and I don't really think the person's points are all that valid, I want to know what other people might think of this review and if you think this person's complaints are valid. WARNING: The comments on the review contain spoilers, so don't read if you haven't beaten the game. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/review_comments.php?id=13840
Also, please do not try to find this person and harrass them, all I want is to know what other people think of this review, not try to prove that they are wrong and attack them for having a different opinion.

As someone who liked the first game more than the second, I can understand and even rationalize some of the points being made in this "negative" review. Without drifting into spoiler territory, I'll say that while I didn't find the trials to be identical, I found that they required the player to *reach* a lot more than the first game did. There is one trial in particular where I came away pretty dissatisfied with how the events and the resulting conclusion played out.

Without giving too much away, I do agree that despite how long and (overly?) drawn out the ending was, I did feel that it left a few critical questions unanswered. If Spike Chunsoft plans to create a "Danganronpa 2 2nd" or revisit these characters in the Danganronpa 3 anime, I think it's fine for now. If the rumor that they never plan to revisit Danganronpa 2 is true though, I have to agree with the author's disappointment in how the game wrapped up.

Good to know. I honestly find your opinion more agreeable than the one in the review, even though I personally think this game improved on the first. I will say that they are planning to revist Danganronpa 2 in the DR3 anime. The rumor was just the creator making a joke to throw off the fans when the anime trailer was revealed. But he does say he doesn't want to write the DR2 characters again unless it adds more to their characters or the overall story. Basically, he doesn't want to bring them back purely for fanservice. My main problem with the review in question is that they claim that *nothing* was explained, even though there was in fact a lot explained about the story and how everything happened. Thank you for your thoughts.
