Question about Chapter 6 (spoiler warning)

Turn back now if you don't want spoilers. So, my friend and I just finished chapter 5 last night. I share my screen on discord and he watches and we do the voices, etc. You know how at the end of chapter 5 theres all that glitchy stuff? well, we found that all that glitchy stuff was making the stream lag really bad for my friend, so I was just wondering how much of that is in chapter 6. Also, if anyone else has done this, is there a way to fix this or help with it, we run into lag problems a lot in general. Please don't spoil the plot of chapter 6, btw

You only put the slash ("/") when ending a spoiler section. The beginning of a spoiler section should not have a slash.

I'm not an expert on stream quality issues and it's been a while since I watched Ch6 so take this with a grain of salt, but I think the visual effects you see in Ch6 will affect stream quality differently than the stuff in Ch5 will: I think the issue will be more about sections of the environment with high contrast details. Also, IIRC, most of the unvoiced dialog (including the vast majority of plot-relevant dialog) will not be happening with the visual effects that are more likely to be troublesome.

Okay I partially take it back. Ch6 is probably gonna be pretty awful. :( But I do think you'll still probably be fine for plot dumps? Maybe the start of the trial will be a pain too, but that's voiced.

My friend and I actually experimented last night cuse we had some time and I had a save that at was at the part of chapter 5 after the trial, and it actually wasn't that bad, I think discord might've just been being weird like it does sometimes and making the stream lag more than usual, cuse this time, there was still lag, but not much more than usual, the parts that practically froze for him before didn't do so (more than usual) this time. So hopefully it'll be alright, fingers crossed.

Btw, how long is chapter 6? Is it the same length as the other chapters, or shorter or longer? My friend and I are trying to finish the game by a certain date (he'll be going on vacation for a couple weeks soon, so we wanna finish it before then)

I think six hours is adequate? I just watched a stream who did most of Ch 6 in one sitting in around 5:30; it's starting point was only a few minutes into the chapter.

Finished it. The lag actually wasn't that bad once I cleared the discord cache, the only bad part was that I thought I was legit gonna throw up from all the trippiness during the investigation, I had to be like "Ben, gimmie 15 minutes, I can't look at this much longer" XD

The glitchy effects mostly cut out by the time you get to the trial. I didn't have super bad problems with lag but you can cut some of it down just by playing on a lower resolution.
