That being said I found parts of it enjoyable, the murders are more often than not complicated to a comical degree and for the most part the caricatures they attempt to pass as humans are certainly worth a laugh. Comedy fueled me through this game for the most part. The darker atmosphere is entirely gone, it's light hearted all the way through despite that conflicting with the attempted tone of the game.
I still think it's worth playing. Pick it up during a sale and it's not too bad. While the murders are over the top, they're still kind of fun to solve thanks to the improved gameplay. The story is completely forgettable sadly, it tries a bit too hard and ends up pretty cringe worthy at the end.
