Sorry if my tone comes across as a little snarky, but your post didn't mention which particular trial you were in.
I was talking about the whole Mikan/Ibuki thing, the hospital gowns, they even made a point to talk about how one was missing (the one the killer was wearing) and how there are only 4 one for each one and there were 3 patients which was never brought up.
There was just so much evidence unused that the killers mistake argument to me was like, they made like 50 mistakes and the answer was the camera angle, but honestly the gown and slippers were also mistakes, literally everything the killer said was a mistake and nearly every truth bullet applied and nearly every gold word was refutable... it was a nightmare I had to finally give in and look it up after about a half hour on that ONE part.
But there's a spoiler forum here, specifically created for spoiler topics. ^^
You don't have to censor text over there, so feel free to discuss things there.
Just a suggestion. This isn't meant to be an angry comment, or something xD
It's hard NOT to be spoilery about that trial.
This trial in particular was a rush job due to the fact that, at the 11th hour, the second victim was changed from Fuyuhiko to Hiyoko. What may have been clearer before that may have gotten muddier due to the fact that the weapon used to kill Hiyoko wasn't even brought up during the trial, but it's implied that Mikan used a scalpel.
As to the other issues, who knows? They could have gotten muddy on purpose. I don't know for sure.
