Having issues starting the game

Yesterday I bought Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and was able to play it without issues.
When I came back on to my computer (After leaving the game running since I was going to just pick it up where I left off) the game froze yet the audio still played. After closing the game (using the task menu) the audio continued playing until I had to restart my computer. Now the game won't open or launch other then the "launch" window that appears before staring it.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I really don't want to uninstall the game and start all over. (I'm already at the first class trial)

also when I try to launch it now it says "Danganronpa 2 is attempting to launch using these optional parameters below:
"-ss -d3d"

I found five possible solutions to your problem that should hopefully work:

1. Restart your computer
2. Open steam with no applications in the background
3. Run steam as an admin
4. Reinstall the game (backup your save if you have any data)
5. Do both 2 and 3
