yea you're right, he wanted that everybody died because he found out that they were all remnants of despair
You're completely wrong about that. If you played the game you should know why. He never knew who the traitor was besides the fact that there is, indeed, a traitor among them. Komaeda only had one thing in his life he could trust 100% percent, and that's his luck cycle. However, even if he would want to take everyone but the traitor out in one fell swoop, I kind of have doubts the program with Junko virus installed in it would allow that. There are also certain rules to the game, where the killer is always automatically the person who deals the finishing blow. If, for example, the victim is beaten up badly by culrit A, and on the verge of dying, and "culprit" B finds that victim and, let's say, tries to do something to treat their injuries but the victim ends up dying in "culprit" B's arms, the killer *is* going to be "culprit" B. Because "culprit" B laid hands on the victim, and the victim "technically" died from "culprit" B's interference. That's the bare mechanics of the game, and it's exactly how they're implemented in this case: both culprit A and victim is Nagito, "culprit" B is Chiaki. However, Nagito's luck ended up backfiring as always, allowing for this roundabout conclusion, that's what makes this case so good. There's always room for speculating that Nagito left a way out for the rest of the survivors, but I think that would kind of undermine his character's significance somewhat.
