Missing a movie in the gallery?

I've played through the entire game plus completed school mode, but there is still one video missing from my movie gallery.

The video in question is sandwiched betweenVictim: UnknownandGoodbye Despair High.

I've read on other (albeit 2-year-old) threads that this is fixed by either playing the game in Chinese (impossible if playing in English) or messing with the game's PC files, which I can't really do seeing as how I'm playing on a Mac and don't have them (or I just don't know how to look). Is there an updated solution to this issue?

Additionally, I just receivedthe Escape Buttonfrom the MonoMono Machine, but the movie that everyone says it unlocks was already available to buy in my gallery (however I did not check whether or not I could actually purchase it, but the thumbnail was visible). So I do not think that is the one I am missing.

I wonder if my game somehow marked the wrong movie to be sectioned off for later unlocking or something.
