ok am i the ONLY one to watch the Anime this game is based on and am offended they call one of the two gender bender characters is identifyed as female when in the anime they are infact Male for those that don't know he's in screen shot 3 and the Buff "Guy" in the school girl uniform is actually a 17 year old female body builder I wonder if they're going to call old Sakura a homosexual man lol anyone else's thought's?

sorry but its more ment to poke fun at america's Gender squemishness these 2 characters are going to get the same treetment as that gay ghost in Paper Mario & the Thosand Year Door in japan he's a gay crossdressing ghost in the US version he's dubbed as being Female. I just fear that these my 2 fav's are going to be treated the same the latter to be a stright crossdressing guy and Sakura to be an F.B.B. instead are going to be dubbed as a young girl, and a Gay guy...

I don't see a problem with it. I thought Sakura was an amusing change from the usual buff, wise and badass guy being a girl instead (Yes that is a chick). While [NAME ERADICATED] was explained very well and is actually quite a nice piece of stroytelling.

Sakura (that buff person ) is a girl and has always been a girl.She does get mistaked as a guy by Hagakure/Ultimate Mystıc or somethıng) at the start.

Also there is no gender bending going on.Gender bending is either girl becomes a boy (with dangly parts etc ) or boy becomes a girl (by growing lumps of meat on chest and loosing the ones between the legs)

Sakura is like Miss Olympia contestants.Buff as ♥♥♥♥.

Chihiro is a boy that wears girl clothes because he thinks he is very weak and acts like that.He is a trap and if i remember correctly in the anime it was found out that he was infact a boy and not a girl considering there are a lot of stuff is found out in that chapter about cards useage and such

This game is not based on the anime. The anime is based on the game.

Sakura is a female, and always has been.
Chihiro dresses as a girl for reasons.

well I see we have no Gaijin Goomba fans here either or you would all know what I'm talking about and to those that say this game is before the anime then explain why the manga for Danganronpa was released in 2008, the anime relased in 2012 and this game now released in 2016? how do your dates match what I just got from manganime cat which tracks the release of manga, light novels, Anime, and Anime inspired games?

I read volume 2 of the manga, watched volume 1 as an anime waiting for english dubbed vol 2 anime and english translated vol 3 manga I'm not playing the game cause i've allready seen the show and know how it all ends.

finally if you do go watch gaijin goomba's video on US censorship of gender bender you're a good person for looking up the reason on why I'm worried this dev' has chopped up the story for this game.

DanganRonpa was released for the PSP in 2010, the sequel was released in 2011.

The manga started in serials in 2013.
The novels were published in two parts, starting in late 2011.
The anime came along in 2013.

Hopefully this clears up your confusion.

Chihiro Fujisaki is female in America until he is murdered, at which time it is revealed that Chihiro is actually a boy - a crucial bit of information for solving the crime.

Sakura Ogami is still a female in America. In fact, she's listed as female in every place that can possibly list her as female (student profiles, and everything). There is a little confusion among the students at first, as the Ultimate Fortune Teller confuses her for a man. This is resolved before the first murder takes place.

The video game is the source material - the anime leaves out more than half of the plot. In fact, the anime series is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible. Worse than terrible, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ abysmal.

Except no you haven't. After all, the game has a LOT of content left out of the other media. However, since you're confident you know all there is to know, I'm afraid none of us can convince you.

Still, sucks that the anime glosses over Genocide Jack entirely. You get none of his plot.

Wind Blade I NEVER said I know everything I said "I Know how it ends" witch is Junko did it killed her Faternal twin sister the super highschool Soldier Sakura off's herself and finally Junko is executed buy all previous methods ultimatly is chushed by detentionand the survivor's leave the facility.

therefore i know the end the means of witch you get there are irrelivent solong as Junko did it and is executed as above.

that being said if a youtuber play's it I will watch it just to see their reactions nothing more.
