DRM-free release?
Any chance of this also appearing on GOG or Humble bundle?

since they didnt announced such, I wouldnt hold my breath for it if I were you
Japanese companies are wary enough about Steam's limited DRM. Them going completely DRM free is extremely unlikely (in Japan most PC games feature always-online DRM.)

Eventually at some point post launch? Possible
At or around launch? Highly unlikely

I doubt it. Japanese devs are only barely aware of the PC as a platform and Steam as a service. GoG is miniscule by comparison and doesn't have the inbuilt community that Steam has.

Abstraction Games released 90% of their games on GOG, remember that! :)

I think it might be a consideration based on how well the game sells on Steam. I can't really say as I don't remember there being any official statement about it, but I'm pretty sure that Spike Chunsoft is still testing the waters for PC sales and that makes me suspect that it won't be soon, if at all.

Tl;dr: I think it depends on how succesful the Steam release is.

Yes, but Abstraction are doing the port, SpikeChunsoft will be incontrol of publishing. And, as has been said, Japanese Devs are extremely touchy when it comes to DRM lite/free services.

Yeah but its totally up to the publisher/distributor (Spike Chunsoft) on which storefront's it'll appear on.

Well, game looks super intresting for me, but I'll wait for GoG/DRM-Free release. Hello devs? Please? Pretty please?

I’m also waiting for a DRM-free release to buy this game.
