What do you mean by Japanese release? The store page says it comes with English and Japanese interface, audio and subtitles. So I guess dual subtitles are out of the question. But is it at least possible to switch between languages after starting a new game?
I don't know why the store page says the game has both English and Japanese interface, audio, and subtitles, though I would guess that it's covering all releases of the game rather than the one you're shopping for. All I can tell you is that there's no option for Japanese in the North American version's launch window, title screen menu, or in-game menu.
Oh ok, I'm located in Germany so maybe the European version has more language options. Sometimes it's also possible to change the language in the game library by right clicking on the game and selecting properties. But thanks for your helpful answers.
Ahhh, okay, I never would have thought to try that. I have just confirmed that you can indeed select English, Japanese, or Traditional Chinese for the game using the method you describe. Sorry for initially giving you the wrong answer.
Thanks for checking it.
