Can someone help me with the Bullet Time Battle
♥♥♥♥ing Christ I can't believe I just went through that over hour long trial and now am going to have to do it again. I honestly don't know if I can put up with it.

I left click on the dots as they reach the center. That's all I know to do. I occasionally right click, but there's no rhyme or reason to it. I have no idea what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to lock onto the statements that fly at you first, by clicking the right mouse button in time with the mouse. When you lock onto them, as indicated by the overlay on the sentences, then you can destroy them by clicking the left mouse button once, on time with the rhythm.

Right click on the dots as they reach the center and statements appear above (I usually do 3-4 clicks) and then left click on a dot as it reaches the center to destroy all of the statements you locked on to. Honestly Bullet Time Battle is easily my least favorite aspect of the game, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get to the story.

(Also I normally use a Dualshock controller when playing and have found that to be much more enjoyable.)

I understand the frustration you felt. I felt bewildered as well myself when I first played it. And then I understood that I needed to lock first with right clicks before timing my left clicks, and it became simple. Even though the game will add some tweaks in future trials, you can only win or lose quickly because each statement either subtracts from your health or your opponent's.

You might not be aware of this, but you can save your game during the trial. You don't need to replay the entire trial if create a save before this troublesome bit. So long as you're listening to dialogue, you can hit escape to access the menu, just as you would during school or investigation mode.

Thanks everyone. I just didn't understand the in-game instructions at all for some reason. You were a great help.
