How to shut SE and BGM down completely?

I have shut the sound in options but the BGM still plays.plz tell me how to solve it

Seems like you want the game completely muted... You can always window out of the game, go to the volume icon, right-click on it and open the volume mixer, there you should be able to see a bar (if not use the scroll bar at the bottom) and lower the pointer to 0. Now the game is muted, you'll have to unmute it manually and only when the game is running.

Sometimes you just wanna listen to music while you play

Once you turn off the music in the options menu, exit out of that, then again, out of your file's menu. The game will ask if you want to save your changes; say yes and choose your file, then reload it and the game's music will be off. Hope this helps!

I dont understand, when I go to options and exit out of it, it doesnt take me to a file menu

If you're playing on PC and want to completely mute the game you can right click the volume button and go to volume mixer just put the game all the way down. It worked for me because I wanted to listen to music the same time.
