Save Sayaka?

So I just started playing this game and both Junko and Sayaka (who were my two top pics for waifu) ended up dead. Is there any way I could have saved them or are their deaths a part of he story?

There are two ways to save them.

1: get lucky and get the 'exit' button from the MonoMono machine

2: play the demo version (idk if it is avalible on Steam. If it isn't, look for it on the internet). Weedman (Hagakure) is killed instead of Sayaka, and Junko hasn't been penetrated. But its just a demo.

Weedman- that's my new favorite name for Hagakure. The exit button is impossible to get if you haven't completed the game, but School Mode is unlocked after the end of the main game, aloowing you to finish all Social Links(my term for the character events). DANGANRONPA If is a story where Sakaka doesn't die, but it's in DANGANRONPA 2: Goodbye Despair.

It's the first death. Usually anything past first chapter considered spoilers.

You can only (sort of) save one person, and that's part of the story (otherwise, that person dies and you get the alternate ending).

Nope... That's how the plot is, you can't save anyone in this game : (

Except for one, in the fifth trial, but if you sacrifice that person, you get the bad ending and then you have to redo the trial .
