Afaik, NA's Win 10 store version was never brought to Steam, only the needed fixes were via the long awaited update.
Pretty sure MS is now paying ♥♥♥ pubs to deliver "superior" versions to their store to try steal the weeb fans from Steam, or try getting them sucker hooked on GP (which I find distasteful, because why rent when you can buy once and own).
Edit: Just found out via reddit that the MS store version is actually inferior in terms of it's video options, here's the comparison: https://imgur.com/a/H7ZCiYi
it's based on the mobile ports(where they originally added those extra features),that's probably why the fewer video options
The default settings only offer 1024x640 as the resolution for borderless window mode.
I found I could manually edit:
I changed the following lines to reflect my desktop resolution and it resulted in borderless full screen gameplay:
-screen-width 1024
-screen-height 640
