What specifically is happening? Is it crashing or?

it ask me to download .net framework 3.5, but i tried download it and it just gives error and crash the game :(

try verifying game files, if not Install .NET Framework 3.5 manually. The installer is located in _CommonRedist\DotNet\3.5 directory. Steam is supposed to install it together with the game but apparently it's not always completely reliable

wait, when you download the game, will they automatically install CommonRedist in the game file?

Ya know how when you launch a game the first time it does the whole "Local files" thing and downloads something else? Typically that's when they download stuff like the framework. So there's a chance it just didn't do it

Oh.. I keep installing and uninstalling.. but my game folder doesnt have any commonredist folder everytime i installed back.

mmm I had the same problem, try restarting your computer/laptop? it worked for me!

I did update my laptop again and it worked after that. It took me over 2 hours to get the game to work.

i update and restart for quite a few times, it still wont work :<
