What's a suitable age limit for THH?

I'm not good at putting an age on something but there are some language being used and some images might be kind of upsetting to some so I would probably say late teens like 15-16 even though I think alot of places would put it at 18 but I didn't really care about that at 16 and palyed games that according to the recommended age I shouldn't have. so I would recommend being at least 15-16 probably because I think someone younger might have a bit of a hard time with certain things in this game I mean hell I'm agrown woman and I've said several times "wow,that is a lot" and not in a good way I mean after I solved the first case I actually sat there for awhile just thinking "oh god...I feel bad now" but maybe I'm just a softie even though I find that hard te believe when other people react a lot more strongly than I do if the look over my shoulder

Based on a US moral view, I'd go with PG-13. Some kids are watching Alien and other horror movies by that age, and Danganronpa doesn't have many moving parts and the violence is not quite realistic, but not quite cartoony either.

That rating comes with the caveat that different kids will have different sensitivities. I would not have been in favor of playing that game at that age because I don't do well with horror/feeling of being stalked through the creepy hallways. But if I were trying to set a minimum age for the majority of players, 13 seems right.

To be honest, i dont exactly think age ratings are helpful most of the time since one person is different from another. I guess 14 is ok, but it all depends on who exactly is playing the game.

ignore moralizing, are they mentally mature enough to appreciate the story? i wouldn't have been at 13.
