Logic/Action Difficulties for a first timer?
So I just got Danganronpa 1 & 2. I've been eying the series for awhile & the summer sale seemed like a great time to get into it. Starting it up I got to the difficulty screen, & I'm not really sure what difficulties to choose. I like mysteries & theory crafting, but I've never actually played a game like this before. I did a little bit of looking around online, & a lot of people were saying to play it on Mean/Mean. That the lower difficulties were too easy. With a few people saying that Kind was just fine. My thing is, I usually do play games on the Normal/Midrange Difficulty. But I am open to a bit of a challenge. At the same time I don't want things to get frustrating. Especially considering my lack of experience in these genres. So the question is, what difficulty should a newbie like me play on?

Honestly mean would probaly be fine, its not the hardest game in the world. Just be sure to check everything in the rooms

This game's still very easy, so definitely choose Mean/Mean.
I would watch out for future games, though. They're bound to be more challenging and complex.

I played the game on Mean/Mean (mainly because I was there,) so I highly recommend playing it on that setting. Even in the trial sections, if you're having a hard time finding the right words to say, you can just run through a section to see your options of attack, and then pause the game to assess your plan of negotiation. Hopefully you can assist me in this journey.

Thanks for the responses guys. I did end up starting it on Mean/Mean. I'm not that far in, but so far so good. The game has definitely caught my attention though. I'm enjoying it so far.
