Is this game scary?

I've heard that this game is pretty good, and I think I'll get it (since it's on sale) but it being tagged with "horror" is somewhat of a turn-off for me. I'm not one for horror games, and I hate jumpscares.
I've heard people say that this game isn't scary though; is it true? Because this game looks pretty promising.

I played the game on Vita and just picked it up on pc to play through again. It isn't scary at all but it has a very interesting story and sucks you into the game, which makes it worth playing through.

It's not scary what so ever! Little bit of gore, cause y'know murders and stuff but its worth the playthrough!

The only "jumpscare" type thing is when you walk into a room with a dead body, it kinda pans real close to the body and plays spooky music, but nothing major, nothing like FNaF or anything.

Not only is it not scary, it actually does the color censoring of the blood to be less graphic as some anime has done. Here its hot pink when you are dealing with a body. I would also consider this to be tense and possibly more like a thriller. You grow invested, so even the pink blood does weigh heavy without visually hitting you like red. This is very much a detective game, not a horror game. If there's any horror its psychological. I recommend, though the level of tension can surprise you.
