stuck at chapter 6 class trial

so i'm at the part where monokuma claims no student has been murdered twice, so i absorb "murdered twice" to shoot "junko enoshima" but for some reason i keep missing? i basically cant shoot the orange letters because the pink ones are blocking, and even though i try to aim between transitions i still fail. is there any way??

The pink text is known as white noise, and you get rid of it by aiming at it and right clicking.
