Question about endings

So i heard about the "bad ending" and "true ending" i dont want to spoil the game so i didn't look into it but i want to know what i can do to avoid the "bad ending" spoiler free please.

Also, about those coins, what do i use them for? and also presants, I don't know where to find stuff to give as presants.

The bad ending is where you condemn a certain someone to death in chapter 5 (I think) by telling the truth (instead of hiding it like you're supposed to to get the true ending). That person dies, and you get the bad ending (and yes, you should be able to retry almost immediately after getting the ending).

Coins are used for the toy machine that gives you those items in the capsules. Those capsules have presents that you give to your classmates.

I've only played the Vita version, but if it's a direct port from the Vita version to PC, then you can also use the coins to unlock music, art, movies, etc. to view / listen in the game as well... an art / music / movies gallery of sorts.

You got to choose the wrong choice and save if you want to be able to complete all the CG gallery since you cannot buy the CG for the bad ending without choosing it. Note that there's no way to actually finish the game with the bad ending, as the game immediately forces you to make the choice again until you pick the correct one.

Even though you already have answers, i thought it would be fun to explain it spoiler free, Because I myself fell for it the first time

Basically, it will come to a point where you cant be selfish and you have to make a descsion that you wouldnt rationally make, and even goes against the main goal of the game, its harder than i thought to explain without spoiling what it is, but when the time comes you'll know, Just be really keen and know that something is not what it seems!
