Would people recommend this on PC or Console?

This is of course a biased location for this question, but it appears that as a visual novel it's superior on PC. I have the chance to pre-order 1 and 2 on that combo disk for PS4, but realistically, I don't see a visual novel possibly being better on a console. Plus apparently there's a 'shooting down an argument' thing, which immediately makes me want my mouse which will forever be superior for anything shooting related.

Would there be any reason to get this on consoles now that it's hitting steam for the full trilogy?

From everything I've seen, the PS4 collection will be no different from the PC releases of Danganronpa 1 & 2, which themselves are no different from the Vita releases except with higher definition sprites and artwork. With that in mind, I see no problem with you buying the PC version if that's what you're more comfortable with.

A small remark, though: saying "the full trilogy" is on Steam is kinda inaccurate, since Another Episode is just a spinoff that ties up a few loose ends from the first two games. The conclusion to the saga is Dangaronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy, an anime that released earlier this year.
