Did monokuma actually eat mondo? I read something in the wiki but I'm not sure.

in mondos execution it appears that mondo has been liquidfied and turned into butter im not sure of monokuma did ate him but he was indeed liquidfied

In any case, the anime does include a brief scene for the third trial where Monokuma is clearly enjoying some pancakes with Mondo Butter.[eyeforaneyepiece.files.wordpress.com]

While I'm not sure either, what I do know for sure is that the light indicating *there is a body inside* showed there was 9 corpses in the Bio Lab and Mondo was definitely one of them.

On that note, there's the question over how "real" the executions are. While Leon's is barely within the realm of plausibility, the rest seem ridiculously outlandish; in particular, DR2 suggests that Junko's body survived her own execution mostly intact. So it's possible that Monokuma used a number of tricks to hide Mondo's body while the execution was taking place. No telling with him.
