Same as the anime?

Does the game follor the show or is completely different?
I started watching the show and was looking to buy the game but was wondering if the storys are the same or is the game random. I dont want to finish the show and then play the game and know who killed who.

The story is the same, if you watch the series you'll know who killed who and all the plot, but seriously the games are much better than the anime so I recommend you to play them

It's more like anime followed a game storyline with many details cut off due to an limited number of episodes. Also class trial gameplay was a reason why Danganronpa is totally fun, i think.

Like Nutkun said, the gameplay is way longer than the animation.
