Mossy seeds don't appear in the list of incoming materials

When chopping down trees, the wood, seeds, etc. make an appearance at the lower left as they get scooped up. When chopping down the mossy seed trees I find mossy seeds in my inventory, but they don't seem to appear at the lower left.
