Problem about Dark Talisman quest

Thanks ahead for reading! I have went through the cut scene of the wizard talking about his ex-wife and such. I forgot about this quest and when I started to do the quest, it is not in my journal. I went back to the railroad and no cut-scene so I think i definitely saved that day. However, it is not on my journal, and i cannot talk to krobus about the quest either. Does it happen to anyone else? is it a bug and how can i get pass it?

You may have already spoken to Krobus, which technically completes the quest for some reason, thus removing it from the journal. Try to enter the Mutant Bug Lair just west of Krobus in the sewers and find the talisman there.

Once the Dark Talisman quest appears in the Journal, if you visit Krobus, the quest disappears from the journal. It is not necessary to enter the Mutant Bug Lair, nor to get the talisman itself in order to complete the quest. However, you still must do those things in order to trigger the Goblin Problem quest, enter the Witch's Swamp, and meet the Henchman.
